Cake Auction

I thought that I had posted this here but it seems like I did not. My son had a cake auction at his church a few years ago and we found this in a cake book. He liked the cake and said would bring in some money. well we made the cake and he was right it did bring in the money!! The cake was auctioned off for $140.00, the money was raised for the youth group missions.

Petey the Prostate Crusader

On June 19, 2009 we found out that my husband had prostate cancer. We were both devastated! A few months ago we found out that the prostate is the size of a walnut. So we got some walnuts to get men and their families more aware of a normal size prostate. But as you can see from my blog my mind goes into creative overdrive. And that is how Petey the Prostate Crusader was born! I started a Facebook page for the Crusaders for the families who get a Petey to share their stories with others. We need to make others aware that Prostate Cancer affects 1 in 6 men!

This is the first baby shower gift basket that I have made. I got the Stretch your Imagination cartridge and it has a baby on it so I cut out the babay and added some buttons to the outfit and wiggley eyes.

Baby Shower candies

Today was a test day with the white chocolate. One of my friends is having a baby shower and she asked me to make come chocolate for the shower. These are just a few test ones that I did, for the shower. they will be blue. I displayed them on a piece of scrapbook paper!

Duck Tape Roses

So this is how it started.... my son seen this on the duck tape site and wanted to make a rose. So we got the duck tape and he tried to make one today. He put a few of the petals on the rose and said here mom you finish it. Like I did not see that one coming. For my first ones they did not turn out half bad!

This was my first attempt of making the candy kisses roses. The tag is made from my Cricut using the postage stamp which is on the Base Camp cartridge and the Love is from the Home Accents. I cut out an extra heart and added glotter to it to make it shine some. The Ribbon, wrapping paper came from the dollar store.

I just love that place!

Dinner Plans Chipboard 2010

Here is my idea for planning dinners.

I made this organizer to add your coupons, meal plans and also a shopping list. I laminated the shopping lists so that a dry eraser can be used. I also punched holes in the days of the week so that if you wanted to refill the book it can be done!
